HEATHER CROSBIE - Entrepreneur-in-Residence, ventureLAB

As an Entrepreneur-In-Residence with ventureLAB in Markham, Heather mentors entrepreneurs both on a one-to-one basis and on a one-to-few basis and as one of the facilitators in ventureLAB’s BUILD educational program for early-stage entrepreneurs. She is also tasked with helping to build-out the social enterprise ecosystem in York Region through an initiative entitled CommunityBUILD, a partnership of York University, Seneca College and United Way York Region.

As a management consultant, Heather works with nonprofit organizations in York Region to start-up or expand a social enterprise. 

Heather founded a health and wellness venture serving seniors and the disabled called Keystone Products for Independent Living Ltd.    Heather was also General Manager of one of Canada’s social purpose business success stories - Canadian Universities Travel Service Ltd. (Travel CUTS).  Heather has an MBA from The Richard Ivy School of Business.
