FRANCINE SCHLOSSER - Professor and Director, Research and Interdisciplinary Learning, EPICentre Golden Jubilee Professorship in Business, Odette School of Business, University of Windsor

As Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Odette School of Business and Director, Research and Interdisciplinary Learning at the University of Windsor’s Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre), Dr. Schlosser has worked with other faculties to develop an entrepreneurial culture on campus.

Her research and collaborations with University of Windsor’s Law and Engineering faculties and the Office of Research and Innovation has attracted more than $2.9 million in funding in the past 8 years. Her current research focuses on career transition and entrepreneurial readiness. She was awarded University of Windsor’s Golden Jubilee Professorship in Business in 2013. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Windsor-Essex Chamber of Commerce. She was previously Board Secretary, Canadian Council of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and is on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Schlosser has worked extensively with other faculties to develop an entrepreneurial culture and infrastructure on campus. She has been honoured with multiple research and teaching awards. Her current research focuses on career transition and entrepreneurial readiness. She was awarded the University of Windsor’s Golden Jubilee Professorship in Business in 2013.  Building upon many years of business experience in auditing, logistics and business development in both public and private sectors, Francine Schlosser received her Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo in 2005. She has previously taught at Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Waterloo, and McMaster University in Ontario and at ESC Amiens, France. She currently has been involved in creating multi and inter-disciplinary courses across campus related to entrepreneurship, where her research lies.
